The City Council’s ULDC Citizen Task Force and the Planning and Zoning Commission drafted new land use zoning regulations, which will replace the regulations currently codified in Chapter 130 (“Zoning”) of the Code of Ordinances. It is the first piece of what will eventually become a Unified Land Development Code (“ULDC”). City Council approved the new zoning regulations and associated ordinances on February 23, 2012. Click here to review the new zoning regulations. This new zoning code is not currently in effect. It will take effect after August 2012 once the entire city has been rezoned.
