The Baytown City Council will hold a public hearing for the purpose of soliciting citizen input on the City’s new Unified Land Development Code (ULDC). The public hearing will take place at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, February 9, in the City Council Chamber (located in City Hall).
The proposed ULDC is an encompassing document created by a Citizen Task Force (appointed by City Council) and the Planning and Zoning Commission and will be the blueprint for growth within the City of Baytown, including land use zoning regulations currently codified in Chapter 130 (“Zoning”) of the City’s Code of Ordinances.
Citizens who would like to review the draft zoning regulations can do so on the City’s website at www.baytown.org, just click the link under the “Town Crier” section to the left. Questions and comments will be received at the posted public hearing. You may also provide feedback by contacting the Planning and Development Services Department 281-420-5394 or via email to Kelly.Carpenter@baytown.org.
