
Residents wishing to dispose of household trash, old furniture, old lumber, or recyclable materials may take them to the Baytown Green Center (1601 West Main St).
This facility is for the use of Baytown residents only for delivery of household debris and recyclable materials. No debris from any commercial users will be accepted. Commercial is defined as: Anyone paid to haul trash or waste, or the items come from a business or commercial enterprise or site.
Green Center hours are:
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Cash Only Solid Waste Disposal fees are based on the load per visit and are posted on the site. Baytown residency is required and must be demonstrated by presenting a current local water bill and matching driver’s license.
Fees per load are:
Pickup trucks and cars: $5
Trailers up to 8': $5
Trailers 8' to 16': $10
Trailers over 16' are not allowed.
Combination of vehicle and trailer fees will apply.
Materials which may NOT be disposed of at the Green Center include:
- Shingles
- Motor Oil and Oil Filters
- Tires and Batteries
- Hazardous Materials
- Bricks, Concrete, Dirt
- Appliances and Freon
These materials must be picked up by a commercial waste hauler or taken to the Landfill off of Tri-City Beach road.
Recycling
There is no charge to deliver recyclable materials and proof of residency is not required.

- Small eligible debris must be boxed or bagged prior to arrival at the Baytown Green Center for quick removal.
- No sweeping of trailers or truck beds shall be allowed at the Baytown Green Center.
